DW Subscription Status

Last night I renewed my Dreamwidth paid subscription for another year. I wasn't sure how much I would want or need the extra features since I've always been a free user (even when I was on LJ), but a generous benefactor gifted me with a free month and let me trial the various extra options. I particularly like the ability to edit comments, the network page (aka, "what are the people you are subscribing to reading?"), and the ability to use Google Analytics. (I did play around with importing S2 layouts from LJ's selections quite a bit early on, but surprisingly still went with this free DW-only one!)

Thanks, I'll take a look! :) [2 secs later] Oh! *smiles* I think I came across it about two weeks ago on ff.net while I was going through people's bookmarks (it's getting harder to find new and interesting good reads ever since the delicious revamp). Certainly an interesting premise; it's still a WIP, though, no? Maybe I'll do a post of interesting WIPs.

WIP indeed. I am hopeful the writers do not deviate and the end result is as good as the work has been thus far. I have the admit, they are co-writing another fic that is quite questionable in my humble opinion, but I'll leave it at that.
I love this pairing, they have so much fire!

Talking about ff.net I read this one awhile ago http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2187929/1/500_Miles there is a prequel to this by Princess Alexandria in ff titled Not Myself which starts the saga and yes, another intersting take. Also, a couple of addons to the story, but unfortunately that is in the yahoo group and never made it to the 500 fic on ff.net. Again thought you might find it interesting...

I'm not familiar with the fandom (new series, right?) but I've seen a few new fics on DW from the same genre; looks like I should check it out. :)
