At the year's end
Dear readers, may next year be better than all the years that come before it! :D
For this post I thought I'd share some fun shenanigans before Yuletide authors are revealed. :] [edit 5/1/2014: updated authors from anonymous]
Also, does anyone know if Bailey B has an official alternative archive for her works? Her website (the voyager collective) is down...

Avengers, The
undercover in our overcoats by
Dayadhvam (
dayadhvam_triad)(Peggy/Natasha)
"Prague, 1968. Neither Agent Carter nor the Black Widow would have called it anything like love."
Spy shenanigans during the Cold War, written for the femslash exchange. So awesome. :)
Kusheline's Legacy
Kusheline Reel, The by
kmo (
kmo) (Melisande/Ysandre)
"Melisande instructs Ysandre in the art of Kusheline country dancing at her coming-of-age ball."
Hmm quite the intriguing pairing.
Legally Blonde
Serious by
toft (Vivian/Elle)
"Elle's always noticed women. Elle, Enid, and Vivian, lovers and friends in law school, learning how to be who they are."
Props to Anonymous, who does a great job in keeping the characters contained within the canon without overdoing it. :P
Real Person Fiction
Behind this Wall of Metaphors by
cherryvanilla (
sometimesalways) and
impertinence (
impertinence) (Kristen Stewart/Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane/Jonathan Toews, Kristen Stewart/Charlize Theron)
"In which KStew and Tazer meet in a bar, hookup, becoming bros who bone, talk about their gay crushes, and begin fake dating in an attempt to make said gay crushes jealous. Mostly in that order." I'd describe this as porny trope-filled crackfic that's well written and a bit of a guilty pleasure. I remember stumbling onto this from
impertinence's A Wolf In Thrift-Store Clothing (Kristen Stewart/Charlize Theron) and somehow this wouldn't let me go! -.-;; If you want more of this, give Romeo and Juliet a try (
cherryvanilla utilizes the classic "we got drunk and woke up married" trope).
the door to your room was the door to mine by
care(Anna Kendrick / Brittany Snow)
"Dante was wrong. There's another circle of Hell, and it's Anna's ten-year high school reunion."
An excellent take at the "pretend we're lovers" trope, with bonus illustrations! :D
