On Brides...

I just learned that one of my current favorite ongoing manga series, Otoyomegatari (The Bride's Stories), will be published in English in 2011 by Yen Press (source). It's an Orientalist story that takes place possibly in Kyrgyzstan (as Mori's blog mentions the Epic of Manas) and has very beautiful and careful illustrations (just watch the illustration videos). This means that iichan will not be releasing any new chapters, and mangafox will probably take it down soon. So, if you haven't previewed it yet, try to do it before it does disappear.

I hope they find a good translator for it. *excited* I already know 2 people I want to give this series to as a present if they do a good job! This will join Ooku as part of my purchase list for next year.
