2. Why did you choose your journal name?
It was the same one that I had used on Livejournal. It also connotes symbolic importance to me; that of journeys past, paths treaded. It's derived from Einmyria, the first daughter of Loki, the god of mischief and bringer of Ragnarok in Norse Mythology. I had used Loki as a writing device in a past life as a fanfic writer, and thought it might be a useful name to evoke both mischief and chaos, as both are powerful plot devices in storytelling.
The little I know of Loki comes from what I've read as a kid from the translated "Thors Brudefærd" album in the Valhalla series, which I remember as being epic. Unfortunately, I don't think it's been translated to English.
Oh My Godddess!, which uses a lot of Norse mythology, was also my first fandom, so the name pays homage to that, in a way. It also brings back memories of some good friends in RL and the things we've done together. :D
