Updates
Anik La Chev has taken down Campus (ST:V uber) and Jungle Fever (Hospital Central uber) in preparation for publication, therefore those links will be taken down from the notables list. :(
Lost Girl
Ways to Tell You I'm Sorry by
heartsways is now complete, updated the links on the main notables page.
Rizzoli & Isles
A Little Cold Series by
snuffnyc is now complete, updated links. eneri has been bugging me to read it. Yes, it was a pretty cute read; it addressed certain imbalances towards the middle and had a bit of a case fic aspect towards the later segments.
Recs
DWP
Wow, it's been a while since I've rec'ed anything from this genre.
Multi-chapter
The Right Thing by
lauriestein /
damelola (Miranda/Andy)
"Set after the movie!verse of DWP. Andy is working at the Mirror and receives an unexpected phone call. Miranda needs her, again. It seems Miranda has run into a little legal trouble, and who better to help get her side of the story out, right?"
This one had an interesting premise that kept me reading.
Glee
It's Hard To Change The Way You Lose (If You Think You've Never Won) by
gilligankane (Quinn/Rachel, Santana/Brittany, Rachel/Finn, etc.)
What if Quinn went to Rachel's for help when she got kicked out of Finn's house?
This one's an older one that deals with issues from season 1, and is notable for its solid ensemble cast writing.
HP
Miss Grubbly-Plank Finds Herself by
kelly_chambliss (Wilhelmina G-P/Irma Pince)
"Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank has never been much for books. But then Irma Pince helps her do a little research into the literature of sexology."
This had a wonderful premise, great characterization, and excellent execution.
Het!
Swingers by
snegurochka_lee (DM/HG, RW/PP)
"Blaise threw the best coin parties in town: all you had to do was show up with something in mind, something your spouse would never do, and drop your coin in the bowl. The magic would do the rest to find your match. One spectacular shag later, you'd worked it out of your system. Theoretically, that is."
Refreshes that 70s cliche. *fans self* Hottt.
Sherlock
Shopping List - June by
aslipperysloth (Sally/Anthea, humor) (kudos to
ororcia)
"John secretly writes femslash. Possibly about Sarah and 'Anthea'."
*ROFLMAO* OMG. Genius.
The Deepest Secret Nobody Knows by
flecalicious (Sally/Sherlock, John/Sherlock (implied)) (kudos to
beatrice_otter)
"She remembers out of focus impressions of paleness, the kind of skin that burns in English sunshine, and freckles, dulled by winter, on his spine, and somewhere in the hours between opening her front door and hearing it close in the morning the biggest mistake of Sally's life is cemented into reality in the strongest possible way."
Hmm interesting backstory.
