I'm in the process of clearing up the old dead links from my archives (see cut below) and if you have links that I can use, please let me know.

Two things:

(1)I'm a little wary of linking to archives of locked or deleted journals however, as the author may have intended to erase them for good.
(2)If they've been published I'll link to it below.

Honesty, Away, Primary (PDF), Cold (PDF) by seven_3_oh (Cara/Kahlan; warning: BDSM)
"Richard and crew decide to celebrate a victory over the Sisters of the Light with a good tavern meal, but Cara has other ideas about celebrating. Kahlan doesn't think it's healthy." seven_3_oh manages to combine book lore and TV cannon to forge a realistic chance for Kahlan to see how Cara cares for her. This is a mutual, slow and steady build-up where the author doesn't rely on cheap plot devices like a potion or some spell to create that opportunity. What's admirable is that most of the main characters in this series stay true to their characters until about halfway through "Primary;" from then on, Richard and Zedd might be considered OOC as the author pushes cannon aside in the quest to push Kahlan and Cara together. This series bears a surprisingly intricate plot and some nice action. This series even stays true to the TV series in the sense that you still see the humanity that underlies the actions of the various characters. That humanity has a tinge of darkness, but you will recognize it all the same.
